RUPEE gets the ID !!

Cheers for Indians!! As India now joins its hand with USA, UK and some others by getting its currency the ID. The symbol of our rupee is an amalgam of both the Devnagiri 'Ra' and the Roman capital 'R' and two parallel lines running at the top. The parallel lines stand for the equal to sign. The selected symbol is designed by Mr.Udhay kumar, a postgraduate in IIT.
India is not only joining with other countries but also going to stand out from other countries such as Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Indonesia which bear the same rupee. The socialists believe that it would be a step towards globalization. The Economists correlate the symbol with the economic growth and the dream of blooming as an economic super power. The politicians said that it will reflect the Indian ethos and culture. Even though this symbol will not be present in the rupee notes, it has taken its place in the Indian history waiting for big turns.

The Little Master's Book Of Blood

We are always fervent to stuff our ears with others titbits and who can damn it when that other turns out to be a star that too your favourite star. Everybody’s favourite star and the all rounder Sachin tendulkar has now come up with his latest six, the autobiography, The Tendulkar Opus. The fishy thing about the book is that the plant DNA would be joining its hands with Sachin’s DNA. His blood will be combined with the pulp of the papers which get the shape of the book. There will only be 10 copies of the book out for market. I doubt whether the limited edition is due the fact that human body can hold only 6 liters of blood or due to the price of the book.huh! The price has been quoted as $75,000. The profile of the book is that it has 852 pages and weighs 137 kg including the gold leaf. The profits from the book will be given to charity organizations, as informed.
Apart from all the other blah blahs the crux of the matter is that why would anyone as big as Sachin do anything without a profit. Considering the fact that now-a-days cricketers earn more from ads than their profession, this question is obvious. Is that for boasting the fame or the real time money which plays the background? Answer will be soon out. I hope that his six should not turn out to be a foul play.

Paul- The Predictor

Foreseeing has been part of any countries history. Letting behind some people who says “we don’t believe in superstitions”, there are others who still believes them deeply. Even now things have been predicted, not for war but for football. I would consider anyone as a deaf if they hadn’t heard of Paul-the octopus who took his (it’s a male-for the matter of fact) toll in FIFA world cup as a forecaster. He had hit the goal twelve out of fourteen in his career and it includes 2010 finals.
Paul has a different method to predict things. He has been provided with two bowls of mussels with flags of each country in them and the bowl he picks up would be the winner (I mean the country). Being a German Octopus (Paul lives in a tank at a sea life centre in Germany.); he predicted all 8 of Germany’s matches he was involved in. And the latest is Paul is going to retire from his designation, so I would prefer Germany to start making tastier mussels.

GO GREEN!!!

Nature most commonly referred to as the natural environment includes geology, forests, oceans, rivers, beaches, etc. Traditionally it is a distinction between natural and man-made artificial elements of the Earth .Nature is always pleasant and there can be no one without admiring the beauty of nature. The term nature comes form the Latin term NATURA which means "that which has been born”. It also signifies the natural areas unaffected by humans. The Earth is the only planet which has all natural features. Nature has been celebrated by so much of art, photography, poetry and much other literature to show its strength with which many people can get associated to nature and its beauty. Now-a-days because of the extent of human influence nature is slowly diminishing in a rapid pace. Pollution and deforestation are the major man-made threats to nature. We have contributed a lot to the extinction of many plants and animals. The use of advanced technology is also one of the reasons for natural catastrophe. The increase in technology has led to greater exploitation of natural resources. We employ nature for both leisure and economic activities. It is our responsibility to take care of our planet and protect the beauty of nature.

Telecommunication- TOWARDS THE NEW ERA!!

Telecommunication is a boon to the communication industry. A revolution in wireless telecommunications began in the 20th Century, with Guglielmo Marconi’s developments in wireless radio communication winning his Nobel Prize in Physics in 1909. The ability to carry on long-distance telephone conversations did not happen overnight. It doesn't link back to one specific NASA invention. Improved telecommunication took place over decades of work.
Before humans were sent into space, NASA built satellites that could communicate with people on the ground about what outer space was like. Using similar satellite technology, around 200 communication satellites orbit the globe each day. These satellites send and receive messages that allow us to call our friends in Beijing when we're in Boston. NASA monitors the locations and health of many of these satellites to ensure that we can continue to talk to people around the corner or overseas

Confused!!

It’s been a very peculiar issue of feelings for every one whether to drop a coin or not in the hands of a little girl. I can hear you asking why it should be. But it would be a problem when that little girl is wearing a torn dress, having a bowl in her hand, her hair lack of oil and when she is walking along your side- in a traffic signal, railway platform or a bus stand – asking you for a single coin. Then again you could ask the same question why? It’s because I don’t know whether that single rupee will fill her stomach or some others hand. If we consider the coin going to her, again there will be a noise of feelings.
The same question right? This time the answer would be, I don’t want my child to face this issue while this little girl’s child asks her for a coin.
I don’t believe this. I can’t weigh their satisfaction (may be in a wrong way, still they are satisfied). Being a girl with all sorts of comfort, I could still think of a thing which I think I need. But being in need of others for their daily resources, they are content. I know this because I asked a girl that I would offer her schooling. But my request has been denied, so does hers for the coin. But I still feel confused.

Friendship- A Blessing!!

Friendship is a blessing, and a friend is the channel through whom great emotional, spiritual, and sometimes even physical blessings flow. Friends will cheer us when we’re sorrowful or depressed. Friends will challenge us to attain our original limits with encouragement when we allow ourselves not to go beyond our reasonable boundaries. Friends will motivate us when we’re ready to give in, and they can provide for us when life falls apart. Friends are there when all is well, and we want someone with whom to share life’s pleasant and memorable moments. We often just want them around, to have a good time, to laugh, to act silly; to enjoy some mutually liked activity. .
When you act silly with friends around they also come and join you and get the enjoyment that you are getting. In the dictionary of friendship there is no word named sorrow. They motivate us to attain our goal. They will stand by our side when you need a support. Friends will be the first to treat us without any jealous mind. In life we share most of the time with friends. things which cannot be shared with parents can be shared with friends
Friendship is only everlasting feature in this world. Friends will try to find new ways to make you not to fall. Friends may not save but they never let you go to deep. Friends find innovative ways to stop you from falling and try to get some more help to lift you.
Friends, they are the only source of our brave hearts. Friendship gives courage to our mind and body. Friends will save us from any situations. Friends would come front to solve the problems. Friendship never knows to runaway during problems. We may have a lot of friends but it is hard to try to get a friend who is loyal, trustable to us and be like that to your friend also. That is the only meaning of friendship. "BE LOYAL AND TRUSTABLE".
